Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA)

The Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act provides eligible students with certain rights with respect to their educational records. Educational records mean those records that are directly related to a student and maintained by ENMU or by a party acting for ENMU, with some exceptions. Eligible students in attendance at ENMU include students attending in person and those attending by other means, such as by paper correspondence, videoconference, satellite and internet.
