New Vending Machine Swipe Dollar Bill Slot?
If the new vending machine in your building has swiped the dollar
bill slot, you can fight back by putting cash on your ENMU Silver Pass
ID card at the cashier's window in the Administration Building or at
the Silver Pass office in Room 110 of the University Computer Center
and swipe it through the vending machine instead. The photos on some
of our IDs should frighten the machines into submission.

Senior Meal Program Needs Volunteers
The Community Services Center Senior Meal Site of Portales is
in need of volunteers to distribute homebound meals. The home-delivered
meals route is generally divided among three volunteers.Volunteers would
assist in packaging and delivering meals. This would require two hours
per day (10-noon) Monday through Friday, excluding holidays and bad-weather
days. These meals are distributed to the elderly, disabled, and homebound
that in some cases eat only one meal a day. At this time, there are
approximately 75-90 individuals that the meal site delivers to on a
daily basis. Mileage is reimbursed at .25 per mile. The Community Services
Center meal site is currently looking for on-campus organizations, that
might be willing to volunteer their effort. For more information, or
to volunteer effort, please contact Paul Klein, meal site director,
at 356.8576, or Vonnie Banther at 356.8576 ext. 23. Your generosity
is sincerely appreciated!
Calling All Shutterbugs The
publications office is currently redesigning ENMU's admissions and recruiting
publications. We need your help. In order to keep these publications
current, we are searching campus-wide for photos to diversify our current
supply. If you have any favorite photos of Eastern events, activities
or people or any other photo that you feel might contribute to
these projects please let us know. We invite you to drop by the
Office of Communication Services in Ad. 108 and show us your favorite

Webpage Directory Access
With the inauguration of the new website, units will now have control
over the content, maintenance, and development of certain levels of
their website. ENMU faculty or staff may request directory access for
the unit that they are charged with updating. Send emailed requests
to webmaster@enmu.edu
with the words "Directory Access Request" in the subject line.
When these requests are received, the Webmaster will contact the area
executive administrator, who must approve all requests for directory
access. Once approval is given, directory access will be set up and
the staff member will receive an email confirmation, with a directory
password. At that point, pages in that directory can be changed or added,
so long as the changes comply with the web policies. Informational workshops
will be offered about how to use webpage templates and comply with web
policies. If there are any questions about this process, please contact
webmaster@enmu.edu or
call the Office of Communication Services at 562.2154.

(I am a student, but) ..."Hopefully, one of these days I will be
a part of the staff and
professors. I always mention my pride in being here at Eastern. Where
would I
tell the public what an awesome job the computer lab technicians at
Eastern
do? They are constantly being called upon and very seldom do they not
have the
knowledge to solve the question."
