Fathers' Day BBQ – On Friday, June 13, from 4-7 p.m., the Community Services Center in Portales (1100 Community Way) will sponsor a Fathers' Day BBQ dinner in order to raise funds for the United Way of Roosevelt County. The menu includes: BBQ Brisket & Sausage, Coleslaw, Potato Salad, Baked Beans, Rolls, your choice of dessert and tea or coffee. Tickets are $6 per adult and $4 per child and can be purchased in advance. You have the choice of dining in at the Community Services Center Senior Mealsite, or you may get your meal to go. Campus Crossroads Summer Schedule – The schedule for Campus Crossroads dining for the summer session is as follows.
Breakfast $3.40 + tax: 7-8 a.m.

Written and Oral Comprehensive Exams – Brian Uerling, candidate for the masters degree in music education, will take his written comprensive exams on June 5 (10 a.m.-3:30 p.m.) and June 6 (10 a.m.-noon). The oral exam will be given on June 12 (1-3 p.m.). All exams will be in Golden Library, Room 110.

Former ENMU Professor Passes Away – Dr. Lee Edward Scanlon died on May 28 in Grass Valley, Calif. His funeral was held on June 3 at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Nevada City Calif., and he was buried in the cemetery next to the church.

Partners in Tole Painting – taught by Janice Lee for adult/child (9 years and up) team with a bargain, price of only $35 for both to make your own wooden, patriotic heart.
