ENMU-Roswell
Student Outreach Office Accepting Appointments –
AcceptingThe Educational Opportunity Center at ENMU-Roswell reminds
area residents interested in attending college during the fall 2004,
spring 2005 or summer 2005 sessions to schedule an appointment with
the ENMU-Roswell Student Outreach office as soon as possible. Student
Outreach staff can help prospective students with admissions and
academic counseling and provide assistance with financial aid applications
for those who qualify.
Services include college admissions, college testing, and career
information support. Student Outreach can also assist students with
tutoring, as well as GED, Adult Basic Education (ABE), and English
as a Second Language (ESL) enrollment. These services are available
to anyone interested in attending ENMU-Roswell or any other college
in the United States.
Student Outreach counselors encourage all
interested residents to start the college admission/financial aid
application process for fall 2004, spring 2005, or summer 2005 as
soon as possible to avoid the annual rush of students who delay
until the start of each session. The fall 2004 semester at ENMU-Roswell
begins Aug. 30. Call 624.7201 or 624.7202 to schedule an appointment
with an ENMU-Roswell Student Outreach counselor.

TechTips
Helpful Hints for using ENMU Technology (courtesy of ITS Computing)
Computing
Hot-Key Henry tip for today (Ctrl key series):
While in an application (such as Word), have you ever deleted some
text or made a format change that you did not want and used the
“Undo” hot-key Ctrl-Z (we learned a few weeks ago) to
undo the changes and then (OOOPPSSS!) you realized that you did
want the changes? Well there is a hot-key to come to your rescue.
To “Redo” what you did, press and hold down the Ctrl
key, then press the Y key (Ctrl-Y). To repeat the “Redo”
function, keep pressing the Y key (while holding down the Ctrl key)
until you redo everything you want undone.
Hot Key tip for today (Outlook series): While reading
an email message you received and you want to view the next message
in the Inbox, press and hold down the Ctrl key, then press the >
key (Ctrl->). This will display the next message in your Inbox.
Keep pressing this key sequence to view additional messages, press
and hold down the Ctrl key, then press the > key (Ctrl->).
This will display the next message in your Inbox. If you need to
move back and display previous messages you read, press and hold
down the Ctrl key, then press the < key (Ctrl-<). This will
display the previous message in your Inbox.
