Can anyone tell me what these things are? They look like torture devices!
The whole of the parking lot was filled with items from the ENMU surplus stores and the members of the community swarmed the area before the 9 a.m. auction to scope out the goods. Your photographer had never been to an auction of this magnitude and was blown away by the event.

what a steal!
All of these fridges went for $10... The whole lot of them!

Child Labor
While Wendel was off galavanting in Texas, Laila Haislett manned the Monday Memo. All typos and broken links can be blamed on the four-month-old HTML guru. Her mother, who took the pictures, had nothing to do with it.

Three Packages Mailed So Far – Academic Affairs and Academic Services are pleased to announce that thus far three packages have been sent to military units, two in Iraq and one in Afghanistan.  Collection of  items to send to military personnel with ENMU ties who are serving in Iraq and Afghanistan will continue as long as there we are having participation. It is our sincere hope that our efforts will demonstrate how much we appreciate our military's efforts as well as honoring our loved ones that are serving their country, and will remind them of their support from home.

We need names and addresses – if you know of service members with ties to ENMU who are serving in Iraq or Afghanistan, we invite you to submit their names, along with the name of the unit commander and the unit's mailing address, so we can send to them a future shipment expressing our support and appreciation. We honor and value their service and sacrifice.
