General Comments and Compliments

Congratulations to theatre students for the very tasty home-cooked enchilada fund-raising meal at the First Methodist Church on Thursday evening. Not only was the main course exquisite, but the brownies were so delicious that one attendee even gave half of one to his dog as a special treat (which the dog gobbled up despite normally shunning sweets). This attendee has yet to learn that chocolate is poisonous to dogs.

Adoption

Damien, 13,is a gregarious, curious child who loves science -especially machinery and how things work!  One of his favorite places to visit is the NM Children’s Museum.  Damien tends to struggle in school and in his relationship with his peers, and would benefit best from a two parent family without other children who can devote a great deal of time and attention to him while providing structure and clear boundaries until he feels secure and safe.  Damien loves animals, being outdoors, and playing video games.  Interested families should contact Scott Temple at 505-476-5403 or scott.temple@state.nm.us for more information.
