PORTALES, NM -With a second inning bunt single in Saturday's Lone Star Conference series finale against Tarleton State (11-8; LSC 3-3), Cameron Conrad extended her hit streak to eight consecutive games. The single was one of the eight hits the Eastern New Mexico University softball team (9-13; LSC 4-2) pounded out, but the TexAnns pulled away for an 11-3 win at Greyhound Softball Field.

Connor Selections Highlight Postseason Awards Banquet, Prock Named LSC Coach of the Year

ALLEN, TEXAS - With the Lone Star Conference tipping off its postseason tournament on Thursday, it held its awards banquet on Wednesday evening, and the Eastern New Mexico University women's basketball team was well represented. Mikaehla Connor received three awards, while two other players also made All-Lone Star Conference. Head Coach Josh Prock was named LSC Coach of the Year, for his efforts in leading the program to its first league title.

Big Hits Lead to Doubleheader Sweep for Diamond Greyhounds at Highlands

LAS VEGAS, NM -Kylee Keller hit a grand slam, while Samantha Brockman and Susannah Chandler both homered on the way to a doubleheader sweep at New Mexico Highlands, Wednesday afternoon. The Eastern New Mexico University softball team (11-13) held on to win the opener 9-7, before closing out the cowgirls for a 9-6 decision in the nightcap.
