Bilingual Storyteller at ENMU on September 24

PORTALES—Hispanic Affairs at Eastern New Mexico University and the New Mexico Humanities Council are sponsoring Paulette Atencio, a professional bilingual storyteller and publisher of authentic stories, to  share some traditional Northern New Mexico stories that she heard growing up while living in Peñasco, N.M., and traveling around the state.  The presentation is at 1 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 24, in the Pecos Room of the Campus Union Building, and is free and open to the public.
