PORTALES—The Eastern New Mexico University Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of Chris Beaty, will present a Big Band Dance on Friday, on Nov. 14, from 7–10 p.m. at the historic State Theater at 5th St. and Main St. in Clovis.
Many different styles of music will be performed including swing, ballads, waltz, mambo, cha-cha, tango and rock.
Admission is $5 per person and concessions will be available. All money raised will help fund guest artists for the 2009 ENMU Jazz Fest in March.
