PORTALES—Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will host its 115th Commencement Convocation on Saturday, Dec. 13, at 10 a.m. in Greyhound Arena. There are approximately 210 candidates for the 2008 fall graduation.
The keynote speaker will be Dr. Kathy Durand, chair of the anthropology department.
The Fall 2008 Academic Honors Convocation for students receiving graduation honors will be at 1:30 p.m. on Friday, Dec. 12, in the University Theatre Center. Each college will have one student speaker: Candy Raines for the College of Education and Technology; Matthew King for the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences; Robert Beaudry for the College of Business; and Laurel Webb for the College of Fine Arts.
The New Graduate Reception will be Friday, Dec. 12, from 2:30–4 p.m. in the Campus Union Ballroom. The ENMU Alumni Association sponsors the commencement reception and invites family, friends, faculty and staff.
