PORTALES—The Eastern New Mexico University Wind Symphony and Symphonic Band, conducted by ENMU band director Dustin Seifert, will perform their joint concert on Sunday, March 1 at 3 p.m. in the Campus Union Ballroom at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales.
Pieces by the Wind Symphony will include “Overture for Band” by Heins, “Elegy” by Chance, “Variations on America” by Ives, “Scenes from the Louvre” by Dello Joio, and “Pride of the Western Reserve” by Milford.
The Symphonic Band will perform “La Gazza Ladra” by Rossini, “Fortress” by Ticheli, “Pie Jesu” by Faure and Webber, and “The Klaxon” by Fillmore.
