ENMU Professors Discuss Nature on KENW-FM

(L-R) Drs. Jim Constantopoulos and Tony Gennaro

PORTALES—"A Touch on Nature," a production of KENW-FM at eastern New Mexico University in Portales, is being aired at 12:45 p.m. on Wednesdays on 89.5 FM (KENW-FM). The weekly series, written by Tony Gennaro, ENMU Distinguished Professor Emeritus in Biology, consists of 78 three-minute episodes.

Jim Constantopoulos, ENMU professor of geology, and Gennaro exchange comments on nature intended to spark interest, expand love and erase fears about wildlife. They answer such questions as why do leaves change colors in the fall, what is the purpose of the wolf howl, what are some falsehoods about elephants, are tarantulas harmful to humans, etc.
