PORTALES—The fall semester at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will begin on Wednesday, Aug. 19. It ends on Dec. 11, with fall commencement set for Dec. 12.
Eastern offers courses on campus in Portales, online over the Internet, and at videoconferencing sites in Clovis, Cannon Air Force Base, Hobbs, Roswell and Ruidoso. ENMU also offers dual-enrollment courses at a number of high schools.
ENMU has over 70 majors leading to associate, bachelor and master degrees. In a recent survey, ENMU was listed as the fourth most affordable out of 81 public universities in the Southwest.
