ENMU Wind Symphony Concert Set for October 4

PORTALES—Eastern New Mexico University’s band will present its “75th Anniversary Homecoming Weekend Wind Symphony Concert” at 3 p.m., Sunday, Oct. 4 in the Campus Union Ballroom on the Portales campus.  Directors will be ENMU music professors Dustin Seifert and Neil Rutland.

The symphony will perform "Gandalf" from Lord of the Rings by Johan de Meij; "On a Theme of August Enna" by ENMU alumus and current music professor at West Texas A&M University B. J. Brooks; "Morceau Symphonique" by A. Guilmant with  Dr. Bruce Keeling, trombone soloist; "Inferno" by Daniel Bukvich and conducted by Rutland (premiere performance); "Joyce's 71st New York Regiment March" by Thornton Barnes Boyer; and "Peterloo Overture" by Sir Malcolm Arnold.
