PORTALES—Eastern New Mexico University will host its Jazz Ensemble/Combo Concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 8, at the First United Methodist Church in Portales. The performance is directed by Chris Beaty.
The Jazz Ensemble and the smaller Jazz Combo will perform a variety of numbers featuring selections from The Count Basie Orchestra, the Buddy Rich Band, John Coltrane and many others.
