In surveys of “Student Satisfaction with Overall Experience,” required at all six of New Mexico’s public, four-year universities, Eastern New Mexico University has had the highest rating since the first survey in 1999.
In the most recent ranking, ENMU had a student satisfaction rate of 95.8 percent.
New Mexico Tech and New Mexico Highlands University were tied for second at 88.7 percent; New Mexico State University was fourth at 88 percent; Western New Mexico University was fifth at 79.2 percent; and University of New Mexico was sixth at 78 percent.
The surveys are conducted every three years. In the three surveys conducted so far, ENMU’s student satisfaction percentages were 96 in the first, 93.4 in the second; and 95.8 in the third.
