PORTALES—Laurel Petty, assistant professor of theatre and film at Eastern New Mexico University, will screen her film “A Hungry Boy” at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Sept. 2, in Buchanan Hall of the Music Building on the Portales campus.
The 20-minute film is a portrait documentary about a chef and his art. ENMU music faculty Travis Erwin and student Janice Pacheco contributed to the original soundtrack.
A question and answer session on the film and ENMU's film program (Digital Cinema Arts) will follow the screening.
The screening is free and open to the public.
