PORTALES--The 37th Annual Peanut Valley Festival at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will be from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 16, and from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 17, in the Campus Union Building.
The Festival will feature over 50 craft booths, including: handcrafted jewelry, homemade candles, soaps and lotions, blankets, leather, wood crafts, and much more.
Food vendors will offer turkey legs, fajitas, roasted corn, funnel cake, barbecue, curly fries, kettle corn, stuffed sopapillas and nachos.
There will also be a Pumpkin Trade in the Campus Union Building parking lot, hosted by the Associated Students Activities Board. Bring three non-perishable food items (or $5) and trade for a pumpkin.
