PORTALES-- Eastern New Mexico University is hosting the 53rd annual Southeastern New Mexico Regional Science Fair on Saturday, February 26, 2011.
The science fair is open to students in grades six through twelve attending schools in southeastern New Mexico counties of Chaves, Curry, De Baca, Eddy, Lea, Lincoln and Roosevelt, and the cities of Logan, San Jon, and Tucumcari in Quay County.
Students competing at all levels and in all categories will be eligible to win certificates of recognition, cash, and a variety of prizes from local, regional and national sponsors. Senior division students will be eligible to win a trip to the International Science and Engineering Fair, May 8-13, 2011 in Los Angeles, Calif.
Entries must be received no later than December 21, 2010.
