The Summer Institute at ENMU is offering ESL (English as a Second Language) courses for students needing to improve their English skills, or pass the TOEFL (The Test of English as a Foreign Language). The class will start July 18 and end August 12, just in time for the fall semester! This is a great opportunity for students who would like to get a head start on the school year by taking summer courses. Not only will students learn, but they will also have fun by taking field trips and meeting new people!
The ESL Summer Institute includes courses for the intermediate to advanced student, as well as designated time in the Language Lab every day Monday through Friday. ENMU’s Language Lab offers state-of-the-art instructional technology to enhance the learning experience.
The primary goal of the Summer Institute is to help students succeed and prepare for the TOEFL exam. Students will work on skills tested by the TOEFL, including listening, speaking, reading, and writing.
