PORTALES — Eastern New Mexico University will host a Fall Choral Concert at 7 p.m. on Thursday, Oct. 13 in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building on the Portales campus.

The event is free and open to the public.

Jason Paulk, director of choral activities at ENMU, will conduct. In addition, student John Bonner will conduct his first performance with University Singers.

The choirs, consisting of approximately 95 singers from various disciplines, will be accompanied by Kayla Paulk on piano and joined by guest musicians Haeri Choe, Joseph Flores and Timothy Needham.

The show will consist of modern music such as Pseudo-Yoik by Mäntjärvi and Ring Out Wild Bells by Ron Nelson. There will also be the music of Gregorio Allegri, Johannes Brahms and Vaughan Williams.

"All in all, the program promises a great mixture of old and new, and promises to stir the spirit," said Paulk.
