PORTALES – Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will host a Duo Trumpet Recital at 7 p.m. on Tuesday, Nov. 22 in Buchanan Hall of the Music Building.
The event is free and open to the public.
Michael Ellzey, assistant professor of music, and guest Amanda Pepping, assistant professor of music at Georgia State University, will perform a variety of pieces, including an arrangement by Pepping of the traditional "Simple Gifts" melody in the style of J.B Arban.
The show will also include solo performances by each musician.
