PORTALES – VOICES, a student education group at Eastern New Mexico University, is collecting items for Thanksgiving baskets until Wednesday, Nov. 16, before noon.
VOICES will distribute baskets to a minimum of three families in Portales.
Please donate non-perishables. You do not have to stick to traditional Thanksgiving food; anything will help and be appreciated.
VOICES will always accept cash or a check and use the donated money to buy items not donated. The turkeys have already been donated by staff of the ENMU Department of Education.
Bring donations to the offices of Kathleen Wagner, Kathie Good, Maria Marquez or Cheryl Reeves in the College of Education Building. Deliveries will be made on Friday, Nov. 18, between 11 a.m.-noon.
