2012 Chinese New Year Banquet – Flying Dragon

Chinese New Year is the most important festival in China, known as "Spring Festival. The Year of the Dragon promises to be a spectacular event at Eastern New Mexico University. As the fifth of twelve animals in the Chinese horoscope, people born in the year of the Dragon are imaginative, decisive, self-confident, curious, generous and romantic.

ENMU has a number of international students from China, who would like to share their culture. This year, the performances include:  Chinese traditional folk dance, traditional instrument play, professional singing, chorus by American students, delicious food and much more.

The banquet, held on Feb. 3. 2012, is open to the public. Tickets are only $15 each, and must be reserved with payment by Jan. 27 2012. No exceptions.
