Each station comes with bags and a trash can. They are located by the Administration Building, Campus Bookstore, between the Campus Union Building and College of Business Building, and between the campus fountain and Jack Williamson Liberal Arts Building.

"We want to make strolling on campus a more pleasant experience for everyone–employees, students and community members," said Ronnie Birdsong, vice president for University Relations and Enrollment Services. "Pet owners are conscientious, and this will make it easier for them if they forget to bring their own bags."

ENMU’s Greyhound mascots, Vic and Tory, had their paws imprinted in cement on the foundation of the pet waste station by the Campus Bookstore on Tuesday, Jan. 24.

"We really appreciate pet owners taking advantage of these new stations," said Ted Fares, director of the Physical Plant. "It not only makes the campus more inviting, but helps prevent diseases."

Fares said that, if there was a demand, ENMU would be open to adding pet waste stations in other locations on campus.
