PORTALES – Eastern New Mexico University will host Santa Fe Opera's annual Spring Opera Tour on Wednesday, April 25, at 7 p.m. in Buchanan Hall of the Music Building on the Portales campus.
This is free and open to the public.
Directed by Kathleen Clawson, two talented singers from the Santa Fe Opera's Apprentice Singer Program, Ashley Logan and Alan Dunbar, along with SFO Spring Tour music director and pianist Kirk Pavitt, will perform arias and songs, including a short, original piece, "Words and Music." The Santa Fe Spring Tour is a project of the Santa Fe Opera's Education and Community Programs Department. Following the performance there will be a meet and greet reception with the performers in the lobby of the Music Building.
