PORTALE - Eastern New Mexico University’s Department of Music will host the junior trumpet recital of Spencer O’Keefe at 7 p.m. on Thursday, May 10 in Buchanan Hall of the Music Building on the Portales campus.
It is free and open to the public.
O’Keefe’s repertoire includes works from composers George Enesco, Arthur Arutunian, Dizzy Gillespie and George Gershwin.
His collaborative artists include Cheryl Pachak-Brooks, piano, during his classical trumpet repertoire; and a jazz combo including Philip Meda, drums, Adam Penland, bass, Jacob Marin, piano, Christopher Beaty, sax, and Daniel Caballero, trombone.
Complimentary refreshments will be served after the recital in the lobby.
