PORTALES–Distance Education at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales is offering scuba diving lessons.
The class will be held Sept. 28-30 and Oct. 13-14. On Friday, Sept. 28, the class will start at 6 p.m. in the Science Building, Room 108, and will be all lecture and paperwork. Saturday and Sunday will be split between the classroom and the pool.
On Oct.13-14 the class will be at the open water portion in Santa Rosa, N.M.
The class costs $425 and participants earn a lifetime certification through PADI – the largest certifying agency in the world.
