PORTALES–Eastern New Mexico University will host a Holiday Concert on Friday, Nov. 30, at 6:30 and 8 p.m. on the Mainstage Theater in the University Theater Center on the Portales campus.
The concert will feature the ENMU Symphonic Band and the ENMU University Singers.
The concert is free and open to the public.
The groups will perform many familiar Christmas tunes as well as a scene from an opera, Amahl and the Night Visitors by Menotti, featuring ENMU students and faculty.
The ENMU Brass Choir will accompany the University Singers in a performance of John Rutter's Gloria. The concert will conclude with the traditional carol sing-a-long with both the choir and band.
