PORTALES–The New Mexico State Senate has honored retired Francine Stuckey, Eastern New Mexico University professor of family and consumer sciences, and director of the Child Development Center, with a resolution recognizing her 38 years of service to ENMU-Portales, and for obtaining funds to promote family and child development for Curry, DeBaca, Quay, Roosevelt, Union, Harding and Guadalupe counties.
The resolution was signed by Sen. Stuart Ingle. Presenting the resolution to Stuckey at a ceremony in the College of Education Building on Thursday were (L-R) Jamie Laurenz, vice president of Academic Affairs, and Jerry Harmon, dean of the College of Education.
