PORTALES—Eastern New Mexico University in Portales has named Duane Evans as Distance Learning Coordinator for the Hondo Valley and Pecos Valley area.
A veteran educator in the Roswell Independent School District, Evans will be headquartered on the ENMU-Roswell campus. He will promote ENMU's College of Education and Technology courses offered through videoconferencing, the Internet, and on-site professors.
Evans is coming out of retirement after previously serving 40 years in education in administration and the classroom.
