ROSWELL – High school seniors in Chaves County and their parents are invited to spend 'An Evening with Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell' on Thursday, April 25 at
6:30 p.m. at the Roswell Convention and Civic Center. College faculty and staff and the ENMU-Roswell Foundation will be hosting a recruiting fair, where students can get information about ENMU-Roswell programs and services.

The evening will end with drawings for three grand prizes: two tuition/fee scholarships to ENMU-Roswell and a new Gateway computer system. Only seniors will be eligible for the prizes. They will enter their name in the drawing that evening and they must be present to win.

The program will also feature welcoming comments from Roswell Mayor, Bill Owen and Dr. Stephen Gamble, ENMU President. Dr. Judy Armstrong, ENMU-Roswell Provost will MC the event. Seniors and their parents will also hear from current students who made the choice to attend ENMU-Roswell.

"With these generous contributions from our foundation, ENMU-Roswell congratulates the Class of 2002," said Donna Gutierrez, Community Relations Director. "We realize some of our high school seniors have already decided which college to attend, while others may think college is out of their reach. With this fair, we want to remind students and their parents what is available in their own back yard. This is also a great opportunity for students and parents to meet with some of our faculty and staff, see what programs we offer, and get questions answered in a fun atmosphere," she said.

Seniors and parents who plan to attend are encouraged to RSVP to Sheila Lopez at 624.7163 by April 23.
