ROSWELL – The Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell Foundation will host the First Annual 'Foundation for the Future' Dinner on Friday, April 26 at the Roswell Country Club, 2601 Urton Road. A social gathering will begin at 6 p.m. with dinner at 6:30 p.m.

Tickets are $40 per person and can be paid in advance or at the door. RSVP's to Kate Cox at 505.624.7345 are appreciated. Anyone interested in supporting the ENMU-Roswell Foundation activities and scholarship programs is welcome.

The program will feature a presentation about the history of the college by Elvis Fleming, historian and ENMU-Roswell Emeritus History Professor. Dr. Judy Armstrong, ENMU-Roswell provost, will address the college's current situation and future plans.

"The ENMU-Roswell Foundation Board of Directors is expanding and reorganizing," said Bob Cates, Foundation president. "This dinner is a way for us to introduce ourselves to potential new board members and those in the community who want to support the college. We have some big plans for the future and we want to involve as many people as we can in our building process.

"The college has so much untapped potential because of limited state funding and we are confident the Foundation can help ENMU-Roswell and its students in a number of meaningful ways," he said.
