RUIDOSO – The ENMU-Ruidoso Community Orchestra will hold its spring concert on May 5 at 3 p.m. at the Spencer Theater for the Performing Arts in Alto. On the podium will be veteran conductor and composer Maestro Ugo DiDio.
Among works to be performed is the first movement of Beethoven's Symphony No. 1 in C Major, the Shaker folk melody "Simple Gifts" arranged by Shapiro, and "Shenandoah" arranged by D. Walter.
Several instrumental ensembles will also perform.
Tickets are available at the Ruidoso Valley Chamber of Commerce, at the ENMU office in Ruidoso's Sierra Mall, at the Spencer Theater, and at the door. Tickets are also available through individual orchestra members. Admission is free.
