ENMU Recognizes Retirees at Reception

2002 ENMU Retirees

PORTALES–Eastern New Mexico University recognized the 2002 retirees at a reception on Wednesday, May 1 in the SAS atrium.

The retirees were: Dr. Donald F. Averill, associate professor of chemistry, 1978-2002; Ruth Evans, department/division secretary of biology and physical sciences, 1980-2002; Jimmy Garcia, custodian II, 1984-2002; Phil Geraci, associate professor of art, 1993-2002; Robert Locke, science laboratory assistant, 1985-2001;

Wayne Moore, head women's basketball coach, instructor of health and physical education, 1980-2002; Lois Nichols, payroll manager, 1980-2001; Priscilla Pena, custodian II, 1992-2001; Dr. Patrick Rucker, professor of theatre, 1976-2002; Dr. Lee Scanlon, associate professor of mass communication, 1989-2002; Lynne Wall, supervisor, computer operations, 1973-2002; Dr. Margaret Willen, associate professor of modern languages, director of Advising and the Freshman Year, 1979-2002 and Dr. Richard Willen, associate professor of sociology, chair of the Department of Psychology and Sociology, 1978-2002.

Retirees were presented gifts in appreciation for their many years of service.
