PORTALES – The 102nd Commencement Convocation for Eastern New Mexico University in Portales will be on Saturday, May 11, at 10 a.m. in Greyhound Arena. There are 319 candidates for graduation.
A number of graduation activities have been set for Friday, May 10. These include a regents' meeting, nurses' pinning, the Honors Convocation, and New Graduates Reception.
The Board of Regents meeting is in the Regents' Room in the Administration Building on Friday at 9:30 a.m. The Academic Honors Convocation begins at 3 p.m. that day in the University Theatre.
The nurses' pinning for registered nurses receiving their BSN degree will be in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building at 1:30 p.m.
A Commencement Showcase Concert featuring the best and brightest from the College of Fine Arts will be at 8 p.m. Friday in Buchanan Hall.
The New Graduates Reception is from 4-5 p.m. in the Ballroom of the Campus Union Building. Graduates, along with family, friends, faculty and staff, are welcomed. The ENMU Alumni Association sponsors the reception.
The public is invited to all activities.
