PORTALES—The public is invited to the scary tale of Maria Gonzales in "La Llorona" at 6 p.m. on Thursday, March 2, in the Becky Sharp Auditorium in the College of Business Building at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales. Admission is free.
According to Wikipedia, the Internet encyclopedia, "La Llorona, Spanish for 'the crying woman,' sometimes called the Woman in White or the Weeping Woman, is the ghost of a woman crying for her dead children, whose appearances are sometimes held to presage death."
