PORTALES – The multi-platinum band Lifehouse will rock Eastern New Mexico University's Greyhound Arena in Portales at 7 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 8.

Tickets are $10 for the general public and $5 per ENMU I.D. This includes I.D.s from ENMU's Roswell and Ruidoso campuses also. Tickets are being sold at the ENMU Bookstore and Campus Union Building on the Portales campus. For ticket information, call 505-562-2631, or email student.activities@enmu.edu.

Lifehouse is best known for hits "Hanging by a Moment" and "Sick Cycle Carousel" from their "No Name Face" CD. Their many television appearances have included The Tonight Show with Jay Leno and The Late Late Show with Craig Kilborn. "Hanging by a Moment" was certified as the most played song for 2001.

Lifehouse consists of 22-year-old Jason Wade, vocals/guitar and songwriter; Sergio Andrade, bass; and Rick Woolstenhulme, drums. Sean Woolstenhulme from The Calling has also recently joined the band. He is the brother of the Lifehouse drummer.

Lifehouse has toured with such groups as Matchbox 20, Pearl Jam and Everclear. After their ENMU appearance, they will head to Europe.

The group will release their newest CD, "Stanley Climbfall," on Dreamworks Records on Sept. 17. "Spin," the first single off the CD, has already been released. "Stanley Climbfall" is derived from "stand, climb, fall."
