PORTALES – Dr. John Humphreys, assistant professor of management in the College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University, recently had a fictional case study published in the Harvard Business Review.
The article, "The Best of Intentions," focuses on discrimination issues in the business world. The article is about a boss who has to decide if she should put an employee in an environment in which he most likely would not be successful because he's a minority. At article's end, top experts talk about the situation. The publication, Harvard Business Review, is targeted at senior executives.
Humphreys writes several articles a year for different publications, including Management Decision, Journal of Leadership Studies, Journal of Management Research and Journal of Services Marketing, to name a few.
The Harvard Business Review is considered one of the most prestigious publications in its field.
