PORTALES – Eastern New Mexico University is hosting A falta de pan galleta (In the Absence of Bread, Cracker), a bilingual play at 1 and 8 p.m. on Friday, Sept. 27.
Hispanic Affairs is sponsoring the play for The New Mexico Coalition against Domestic Violence. It is being put on in honor of Hispanic Heritage Month, which runs from Sept. 15-Oct. 15. It is about family violence, not only the terror, but the confusion, the misguided affection, and even laughter and love.
The productions will be in the ENMU theatre. The first production is free for groups or classes and public schools. The second production will be $7 for the general public and $5 for Eastern students and senior citizens.
