PORTALES– Eastern New Mexico University is presenting The Southwest Saxophone Quartet on Tuesday, Sept. 24, at 7 p.m. in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building.
The group was formed in August and this will be their first performance in New Mexico. The assembly is made up of four men playing saxophones: Chris Beatty, ENMU music faculty; David Dees, Texas Tech; Jim Laughlin, Amarillo College; and Hector Aguero Jr., director of bands in Gail, Texas.
The production is free and open to the public.
