PORTALES – Eastern New Mexico University was recently honored when artist Cheryl Hicks visited the Golden Library.
Since October 4, the foyer of Golden Library has been the display area for Cheryl Hicks' artwork, which spans more than 30 years of her life. Cheryl is a gifted artist whose pieces include a wide variety of portraits, fine art, inspirational pen and inks, whimsical graphics, calligraphy, and more.
Cheryl explained to Melveta Walker, director of Golden Library, the history behind the concept of each of her pieces. Cheryl reported that she was pleased with the symmetry and professionalism of each display featuring various aspects of her life's work.
Golden Library will continue to feature Cheryl Hicks' art through Nov. 7. The exhibit can be viewed during regular library hours.
