ROSWELL – Eastern New Mexico University-Roswell will sponsor the fifth of six public forums on the community's vision for improving the Roswell Independent School District. The forum will be held Thursday, Nov. 7 at 6:30 p.m. at Sierra Middle School, 615 S. Sycamore Avenue.
"The ENMU-Roswell campus works closely with the RISD and we will make every effort to support the future success of the district," said Dr. Judy Armstrong, provost of ENMU-R. Dr. Armstrong will serve as one of the forum moderators, in addition to Jack Swickard, president of the Roswell Foundation for Educational Achievement.
The district is seeking public input on its future direction, giving interested residents a chance to voice their concerns and interests regarding the reorganization of the district, strengths, and areas which need improvement. The public is encouraged to attend.
