PORTALES – Eastern New Mexico University's Department of Theatre and Dance is presenting Dangerous Liaisons, opening Thursday, Nov. 21, and running through Saturday Nov. 23, with performances at 8 p.m. in the University Theatre Center.

The play is set in the 1780's in Paris, France. It explores the complicated romantic relationships of men and women. "The characters are witty, intelligent and driven," says director Janiece Scarbrough. "It is very entertaining."

Ms. Scarbrough just returned to ENMU from a leave of absence where she worked at professional theatres in San Francisco and Los Angeles. The last show she directed at ENMU was the male and female versions of Neil Simon's "The Odd Couple."

Tickets for the performance will be $7 for general admission, $6 for seniors, $5 for pre-college and $4 for ENMU students.

For ticket information, call the Theatre Box Office at 505.562.2710.
