Scott Foster, a 1996 broadcast journalism major from Eastern New Mexico University, is a volunteer for the National Marrow Donor Program.

" I worked at KENW as an anchor/reporter/producer while at ENMU," says Scott. "Then I worked in TV news for about six years before I decided to choose another career. I just got burned out on some of the shallowness of the TV world. I'm currently a waiter at The Olive Garden in Abilene, Texas. I'm still trying to decide what I'd like to do for the rest of my life."

Scott says he got involved with the National Marrow Donor Program while working for the CBS station in Amarillo, Texas.

"I finally became a "match" for someone a few months ago. Now I'm scheduled to donate bone marrow at the end of May to a 66-year-old woman with a form of leukemia."
