Deadline Approaching to Enter ENMU Homecoming Parade

PORTALES--All individuals and organizations wishing to participate in the
Saturday, Oct. 11 Eastern New Mexico University Homecoming Parade must
register by Monday, Sept. 29. Advance registration is necessary for
placement in the parade and to include the entrant's name in the parade
program that is distributed along the parade route.

The parade begins at 10:30 a.m. on Abilene and Third in Portales, goes north
to First Street, and west on First Street to the ENMU Campus. This year's
theme is "Classic Movies."

Registration and additional information are available by contacting Parade
Chair Danica Silva in the Alumni Affairs office at 505-562-2125. The Alumni
Affairs office is located in Room 108 of the Administration Building on the
ENMU campus.

Student Organizations Can Get $100 to Help with Homecoming Floats

PORTALES--Student organizations wishing to participate in the Saturday, Oct.
11 ENMU Homecoming Parade must register by Monday, Sept. 29. Those entering
floats can receive $100 in assistance from Alumni Affairs. Organizations can
apply at the Alumni Affairs office located in the Administration Building
beginning Monday, Sept. 17.
