PORTALES—The Eastern New Mexico University Department of Anthropology and Applied Archaeology in association with the Mu Alpha Nu Anthropology Club will present Dr. David Hurst Thomas, Curator of Anthropology at the American Museum of Natural History in New York, Founding Trustee of the National Museum of the American Indian, member of the National Academy of Sciences, and author of Skull Wars: Kennewick Man, Archaeology, and the Battle for Native American Identity, at 7 p.m. on Thursday, April 29, in Room 112 of the Jack Williamson Liberal Arts Building.
His talk, as part of the 5th Annual Cynthia Irwin-Williams Lecture, is titled "Skull Wars Revisited."
