PORTALES—Jackie Bird, hoop dance performer, shawl dancer, designer, and artist, will dance with hoops at 10 a.m. on Thursday, April 27, in Buchanan Hall in the Music Building. It is free and open to the public.
The hoops stand for the circle of life. Ms. Bird will perform the story of creation with her hoops.
