PORTALES—Military service members can now take CLEP exams, without paying the exam fee (normally $50), at Eastern New Mexico University. Service members will still need to pay a registration fee of approximately $15 to ENMU.
CLEP is also available to military dependents and civilians who are interested in taking CLEP exams but these candidates are responsible for paying the exam fee of $65.
In Portales, New Mexico candidates can take CLEP exams in Room 204 of the SAS Building at ENMU. Testing is available: May 18, 19; June 8, 9, 22, 23; July 13, 14, 27, 28; Aug. 10, 11, 24, 25; Sept. 14, 15, 28, 29; Oct.
12, 13, 26, 27; Nov. 9, 10, 23; and Dec. 14, 15, 21, 22.
The tests are administered at 8 a.m., 10 a.m., 1 p.m., and 3 p.m. on Tuesdays and Wednesdays.
