PORTALES—Several graduates of Eastern New Mexico University will return to campus on Thursday, June 24, for the biannual Alumni Band Reunion. In addition to rehearsals, alumni will attend a banquet at The Roosevelt
restaurant on Friday evening and perform a concert in the University Theatre Center at 7 p.m. on Saturday, June 26.
The concert is free and open to the public.
TheENMU Alumni Band was founded in 1988 in order to pay tribute tolegendary Director of Bands and Music Educator Floren Thompson Jr. Thegroup is comprised of graduates from the 1950's to present. Alumnitravel from across the United States to attend this important biannualevent.
